As part of the Melbourne Flagship store re-design, we created a ‘shop in shop’ section bridging the gap between lifestyle and technology by providing a curated range of tech accessories including VR headsets, drones, headphones, connected bags and wearables.

Following the early success of this section, we decided to give it its own brand in order to scale it internally and launch it in the market. +61 was born.

For the official launch of +61 in the Australian market, we partnered with We Are Handsome, on of the most respected Australian Fashion Label. We came up with the idea of broadcasting their Fashion Show taking place at the Sydney Mercedes-Benz fashion week, LIVE and in VR.

We placed a series of 360 cameras right in the middle of the runway, for remote spectators to immerse themselves and watch the show as if they were in the middle of it. The show was available for anyone in 360 video and VR on Youtube Live, and for a selected list of VIP, customers, influencers, creative technologists, journalists and fashion bloggers at the Melbourne Discovery Store.
